CrossRoads Community Church was first established in 1931. The church first began on South Flores Street and then moved to its current location in 1978. From the very beginning, the vision of the church was to be a place where people could find hope in Christ. The church changed its name from Valley Hi Church of the Nazarene to CrossRoads Community Church of the Nazarene in order to return to that vision of being a place where people who are at a difficult crossroads in their life might find help and hope in Jesus Christ through the church.
CrossRoads is not an uptight boring church. We believe that Heaven is going to be fun so we try to have fun as well. You will find yourself laughing and smiling much of the time. You will enjoy the fellowship of many friendly people.
We also believe in prayer. The Bible says that God's House is to be a House of Prayer. You will find corporate prayer for all of the congregation, but there are also opportunities for prayer over your personal issue during the service as well.
And we believe in the Word of God. We do want to have fun. We do want to spend time in prayer. But we will also spend time in the Word of God. Our desire is to help people grow in their knowledge and maturity in Christ. We want people to experience the full measure of the blessings of God.
