CrossRoads Community Church
Leadership Meeting right after church on Sunday, April 29th
My goal is to try to start the meeting about 15 minutes after church is over. We will meet in the overflow behind the sound booth. And my other goal is not to exceed 30 minutes total so that you can still go with your family to lunch, etc. Please let me know if you will be able to attend this meeting.
Hello everyone, we are going to have so many people out of town this Sunday so I wanted to make sure everyone was on the same page. Pastor Thomas is preaching and handling the service. Phillip is leading worship. Tony will be out of town but he will get someone to be in charge of ushers. Kelly is out of town but she will be asking Buddy to be in charge of greeters. Maria Padilla is the other greeter that Kelly is going to ask to be there. Tony is asking Ryan Kasper to set up Sunday School rooms and put them back. Sarah is going to be at the Welcome Center after church so Thomas you can let new guests know to bring their connection card to her for their book. Derrick, is it possible for you to pick up three dozen donuts and a box of Joe from Dunkin Donuts and set it up in the gym by 8:30am? If not, let me know. As far as I know, Mike always has the Guardians set up. Sarah will also be in charge of the foyer/tables while also being at the Children's table. Sarah is also going to talk to her LifeLine about being greeters this Sunday. Sarah, make sure Buddy is aware of who is greeting. Amy, myself, Zach, Shelbi, Rose, Pastor Jaime, Tony and Diane, Ben and Michelle, Kelly, and Bryan are all going to be out of town this weekend so we need everyone to pitch in wherever needed. Those that I have asked questions, text me separately so we don't blow up everyone's phone :) Love you all!
Hey CrossRoads Leadership!!
I hope everyone is doing really, really well. I have spent the last two day with our brother Art in his fight against cancer. It has been a very sad journey and the doctors have said they have done all they can do and it is a matter of keeping him comfortable now. I know God can do miracles and I also know the ultimate healing is walking into Heaven. I don't know what God is going to do, but one thing I know is that when it's Art's time, he will certainly hear from the Lord, "Well done, good and faithful servant." Y'all pray for Art and the family.
We were not able to meet in March as a result of so many folks not being able to make it. I have decided that it might be better to meet right after church. This may alleviate some of the barriers to us getting together.
